We promote sustainable development through a bottom-up economic approach that strengthens communities from within. Our work focuses on skills training, entrepreneurship, financial access, and holistic support to orphans and vulnerable children, vulnerable gorups and break the cycle of poverty and build independent, dignified lives. RACSDEP partners with communities, government, and stakeholders to create inclusive opportunities for all. Inspired by a legacy of service—our founder received a Head of State Commendation from the third president of Kenya, we remain committed to restoring hope and opening pathways to a brighter future. Rachel Muiruri is the visionary behind Rachels Development Programme, driven by a deep passion for empowering vulnerable women and children across Kenya. With a heart for transformation, she has dedicated her life to creating sustainable solutions that uplift families and restore hope. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment to social welfare have shaped impactful programs that provide education, health, food support, counselling, and economic empowerment to communities in need. Her initiative, “Rehabilitation of Orphans and Vulnerable Children,” was internationally recognized when UN-HABITAT and Dubai Municipality selected it as a Good Practice in 2006 Out of the 715 initiatives,amoung others recognisable awards. Today, Rachels Development Programme continues to grow under her guidance, touching lives and inspiring positive change one family at a time..
